you’re not asking for too much.
Here's the thing.
You think you’re asking for too much because something inside of you needs healing.
It’s likely you had a primary caregiver that activated feelings of guilt, fear or shame when you spoke up about your needs and desires.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This inability to ask for what you want and advocate for your needs is just in need of healing babe.
Know this: you deserve to be treated well
You will fully integrate this when you heal your self-esteem and know your own worth.
As you heal these parts of you you’ll
become more capable of and responsible for meeting your own need
ask others for what you want with greater ease
learn exquisite self care
be ok if you don’t get what you want
maintain your values in relationships
strengthen your boundaries
